Vandals in Iceland due to a volcanic eruption

A volcano south of the Icelandic capital revolted again yesterday, a fever and smoke in an orange and red gunfire that led to some evacuations, despite the continued air traffic as usual.

Iceland is known as the land of ice and fire because of the presence of many glaciers and volcanoes in it, and the state in the northern Atlantic Ocean has so far witnessed 11 volcanic eruptions south of Richavik since 2021, when the inactive geological systems have been active after about 800 years.

“A warning … a volcanic eruption started,” the Icelandic meteorological office said in a statement yesterday.

The public radio reported that emergency services evacuated the near luxurious “Blue Lagun” resort, as well as the residents of the town of Grendvic, which is famous for hunting in the hours that preceded the eruption after warning scientists of the volcano eruption.

The volcano eruption in the Recianis Peninsula has not yet influenced the capital and did not cause a significant spread of ash in the “stratosphere” atmosphere and avoiding air traffic disorder.

Icelandic experts expect that the so -called “slit explosions” that feature the flow of lava from the long cracks in the Earth’s crust instead of one volcanic opening, can repeat itself for decades or even centuries.

The magma began to flow with a volcano near the town of Grendfic, where about 40 homes were evacuated. The Recianis Peninsula has been greatly evacuated when the volcano began in the eruption after it remained dormant for about 800 years.
