Great pressure on returning trips to the Emirates with the end of the “Eid” and “Al -Rabi” vacation

Directors and workers in travel agencies said that the travels coming to the UAE are witnessing great pressure from external destinations, with the end of the Eid Al -Fitr holiday and the school spring leave, noting that the occupancy rates will remain high on the return trips until next week, amid a heavy demand for travel.

Strong occupancy
In detail, the CEO of STS said in the Dubai Link Group, Salah Mansour, that returning trips to the UAE record very strong occupancy rates, especially from Arab destinations, and some of the favorite tourist stations for holidays.
Mansour explained that the occupancy rates on the return trips remain strong, but they are less compared to the goats, given that the demand for going trips was concentrated in limited days, but the return trips are distributed over several days.
He added that ticket prices during this period are witnessing a remarkable increase, due to the high demand to return, pointing out that the demand exceeds the supply to some destinations, which drives prices to higher levels than usual.

For his part, the general manager of Al -Awadi Travel Company, Amin Al -Awadi, said that the leave season always witnesses a dense travel movement from and to the Emirates, especially during holidays and occasions.
He added that the occupancy rates on return trips remain strong, although they are less severe than going, due to the distribution of trips on several days, but this does not prevent that many trips may be completely full.
Al -Awadi pointed out that the Arab destinations such as Egypt, Jordan and Lebanon, in addition to tourist destinations such as Georgia, Azerbaijan and Thailand, are witnessing high occupancy rates currently on returning trips to the Emirates, and many other markets around the world.
He stated that the airlines data showed that the periods of holidays and school holidays have become an annual peak seasons, during which the state is witnessing annual growth in the movement of travel, with an increase in the number of flights and passengers, which requires passengers early planning, and flexibility in travel times to avoid congestion or high costs.

In turn, the general manager of the Al -Hasa Tourism Company, Narous Sarkis, called on travelers to take a number of measures to avoid any delay or confusion in their travel plans during this crowded period.

He added that the pressure on return trips will continue until the middle of next week, noting that the demand for travel from the UAE is witnessing an annual increase during occasions, amid an expansion in tourist options and family vacations, which reflects the UAE’s position as an active regional center for travel and tourism.
