Cooperation between "Dubai Silicon" and"No minutes" To support innovation and future companies
Dubai, June 18 / WAM / Dubai Silicon Oasis, affiliated with the Dubai Integrated Economic Zones Authority (DIES), announced the conclusion of a strategic partnership with Noon through its express delivery platform “Noon Minutes”, with the aim of accelerating innovation, supporting entrepreneurship and enhancing the adoption of emerging technologies, which contributes to consolidating Dubai’s position as a global center for technology and industries of the future.
The agreement was signed by Badr Buhanad, Director General of Dubai Silicon Oasis, and Ali Kafeel Hussein, Head of Commercial Affairs at Noon, in a step that reflects the commitment of both sides to support the goals of the Dubai Economic Agenda D33 and enhance the emirate’s competitiveness in the areas of the digital economy and innovation.
Under the partnership, the two parties will work to develop experimental environments for technical solutions, launch business accelerator programs and knowledge exchange platforms, in addition to supporting research and development projects and building an integrated business system that allows startups and entrepreneurs to test and develop their solutions within realistic operating environments.
The first phase of cooperation focuses on benefiting from Noon Minutes’ expertise in the areas of express trade and final delivery services, while exploring innovative solutions in the sectors of future mobility and smart logistics services, and creating new opportunities for innovators and startups operating in Dubai Silicon Oasis.
Badr Buhanad stressed that the partnership enhances the oasis’ role as a major driver of the economy based on knowledge and innovation and provides an advanced environment that allows companies to develop transformative technologies and expand the scope of their application.
Ali Kafeel Hussein explained that cooperation extends beyond quick trade to include supporting founders and innovators and enabling them to transform their ideas into viable and growing projects.
The move is in line with DEEZ’s strategy aimed at accelerating the adoption of advanced technologies, stimulating entrepreneurship and supporting the growth of future sectors in Dubai.
