Russia lost about 900,000 soldiers in the Ukrainian war

A high -ranking official in NATO (NATO) said on Thursday that Russia had incurred human losses of about 900,000 soldiers since it launched its comprehensive invasion of Ukraine more than three years ago. According to NATO, up to 250,000 soldiers were killed in the conflict that started on February 24, 2022.
Ukraine addresses a Russian attack with widespread support from its Western allies. After the Kiev forces managed to restore some lands after the first Russian progress, the two parties entered into a war of drain for months, with the Russians achieving gradual gains.

According to the official, Russia incurred 35,140 people in February this year alone. Meanwhile, Ukrainian President Folodimir Zellinski said that he considered sudden progress last year to enemy lands as success despite the general withdrawal of his forces from the Russian Korsk region.
Kyiv decided to turn the table on Moscow to make a limited invasion last August. “It is completely justice to transfer the war to where it erupted,” Zellinski said in a video.
Zelinski recorded the video in the Ukrainian border area, which witnessed the advancement of the Ukrainian forces to Russian territory.
He explained that he discussed with the leaders of the units that are still fighting in the necessary equipment and support. “We are working to protect our sites,” Zellinski added. There are only a few square kilometers from the Russian Kursk region, which is still under Ukrainian control.
