Shakhbout bin Nahyan attends the Rwanda embassy ceremony on the occasion of the National Day
Abu Dhabi, April 7/ WAM/ His Excellency Sheikh Shakhbout bin Nahyan Al Nahyan, Minister of State, attended this evening the reception held by His Excellency John Merringhe, Ambassador of the Republic of Rwanda to the state on the occasion of his country’s national day.
The ceremony – which was held at the Bab Al -Qasr Hotel in Abu Dhabi – was attended by a number of members of the Arab and foreign diplomatic corps accredited to the state and the people of the Rwandan community residing in the country.
In a speech on this occasion, the Rwanda Ambassador praised the bilateral relations between the UAE and its country, stressing that the relations between the UAE and the Republic of Rwanda are based on strong and established foundations, especially in the economic field and describing the UAE as a strategic partner for Rwanda in most important and vital sectors.
He emphasized the existence of many opportunities and capabilities to develop bilateral relations, strengthen them and push them forward for the benefit of the two friendly countries.
