"Union water and electricity" 50 initiatives are applied to support the bureaucracy

Dubai, April 7 / WAM / Al -Ittihad and Electricity Company continues its efforts to support the “State Bureaucracy” program launched by the UAE government through the implementation of about 50 specific initiatives aimed at simplifying procedures, accelerating the provision of services, and achieving the experience of more smooth and flexible customers.
Eng. Youssef Ahmed Al Ali, CEO of Al -Ittihad and Electricity Company, stressed, in a statement, that the package of initiatives adopted by the company constitutes a qualitative development in the system of providing services, explaining that the focus is on reducing procedures, speeding up the provision of service, and promoting digital transformation, in line with the vision of the rational leadership and the directions of the UAE government.
He explained that the company succeeded in reducing the steps for delivering services from 13 to 8 steps only, by automating the procedures, employing artificial intelligence in issuing approvals automatically, and adopting electronic billing systems, which contributed to raising the efficiency of achievement and ensuring the accuracy of operations.
He pointed out that the efforts of joint coordination with government agencies such as the civil defense and free zones contributed to facilitating the obtaining of the necessary approvals for commercial projects and infrastructure, which enhances the speed of implementation of vital projects.
In the context of strengthening the experience of customers, the company launched a number of digital projects, including smart meters that allow consumption tracking and detection of leaks and restoring the service as soon as the payment in addition to flexible electronic payment platforms such as “Apple Bay” and “Tabi”, and an instant emergency tracking system through the smart application.
The company has developed a technical support system supported by artificial intelligence in several languages, an electronic system for reserving dates to reduce random visits and raise the efficiency of the service, while agreements were signed with the Ministry of Energy, Infrastructure, local municipalities and “facilitation” offices to facilitate the provision of the required documents.
In the context of supporting sustainability, the company launched the “early delivery initiative”, as well as initiatives to support the agricultural sector in the north of the country and improve the efficiency of water and electricity distribution, in the context of its commitment to achieving the sustainable development goals.
“Al Ali” stressed that the company continues to consolidate the culture of continuous improvement through strategic partnerships, modern technologies, and continuous evaluation processes, which enhances the union’s position for water and electricity as a major contributor to developing the biological facilities sector in the country.
