Customs duties are not expected to be reduced to below 10%
White House Economic Adviser Kevin Haysit announced that the customs duties imposed by US President Donald Trump and entered into force last weekend are not expected to reduce less than 10%.
He said: I think everyone realizes that 10% is the minimum customs fees, and it is necessary to have an exceptional agreement to want the president to reduce it.

American pressure

Hessate said that the goal is to “finally be put in place everything that American presidents have requested in recent decades on the table.”
Trump announced on Wednesday evening that “it was allowed to stop the application of mutual customs duties for a period of 90 days and reduce them during that period to 10% with an immediate impact” on imports of about 60 countries and commercial partnerships of the United States, including the European Union.
