Open the application to participate in " Human brother’s fellowship program" In its 2 version

Abu Dhabi, April 11 / WAM / The Zayed Award for Humanitarian Brotherhood and the Berkeley Center for Religion, Peace and International Affairs at Georgetown University announced the opening of participation in the second edition of the humanitarian fellowship program, an international initiative that brings together undergraduate students and graduate studies from various universities around the world to enhance dialogue between cultures and religions.
The program includes a week -long study tour in Jakarta during the month of August. Fellowship members participating have the opportunity to communicate with university students from various cultural and religious backgrounds, in addition to meeting policy makers, prominent religious figures, community leaders, and honored to the Zayed Award for Humanitarian Brotherhood.
The fellowship program is part of the “Culture of Meeting” project for the Berkeley Center for Religion, Peace and World Affairs at Georgetown University, one of the leading centers of inter -studies of religion and enhancing joint understanding of religions.

The Humanitarian Fellowship program had been launched in 2024 with the aim of gathering university students from all over the world in a dialogue that enhances cooperation on the challenges facing humanitarian brotherhood among young people.
This program comes within the message of the Zayed Award for Humanitarian Brotherhood to empower young people by providing them with the skills and experiences necessary to enhance the values of humanitarian brotherhood.
In its first edition, the program hosted a selection of 11 distinguished students in a study tour, interspersed with direct dialogue sessions in Abu Dhabi, during the month of February 2024.
The experiment included their participation in the first edition of the Humanitarian Brotherhood Council, and their attendance at the Zayed Award for Humanitarian Brotherhood for 2024.
Fellowship members also met the virtue of the Grand Imam, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, Sheikh of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, the honored prize, and the luxury of Jose Ramos-Forerta, President of the East Timor, member of the award’s jury for the year 2022.
Counselor Mohamed Abdel Salam, Secretary -General of the Zayed Award for Humanitarian Brotherhood, said that the partnership with international universities in order to prepare the next generation of leaders, and enable them to be ambassadors for peace and coexistence in their universities, societies and future professional paths, is a priority in the areas of promoting peace and humanitarian brotherhood, and the award appreciates the continuous partnership with Georgetown University in this field.
For his part, Thomas Banchov, director of the Berkeley Center at George Town University, said that the program of human brother’s colleagues is a unique opportunity to enhance the values of the human brother’s document that Pope Francis Pope Pope and the Great Imam Dr. Ahmed Al -Tayeb in 2019 and it is very important more than ever support to support young people who commit to cooperation and dialogue between religions.
For her part, Aisha Al -Yassi, one of the participants in the Fellowship Program for the year 2024 from the United Arab Emirates, said that the program for humanitarian brotherhood contributed to my personal development and had the opportunity to meet a number of international leaders who stressed the role of youth in peace -making and promoting humanitarian brotherhood.
