The “indirect” talks began between Iran and America in Oman

Iran and the United States, which have seized diplomatic ties since 1980, began today rare “indirect” talks in the Sultanate of Oman, according to a spokesman for the Iranian Foreign Ministry.

Ismail Baqai said on the “X” platform that these discussions between Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqji and Steve Witakouf, the delegate of US President Donald Trump, “started thanks to the mediation of Omani Foreign Minister Badr Al -Busaidi.”
