The 27th edition of "Witix" It starts next September in Dubai
Dubai, April 12 / WAM / under the direction of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, “May God bless him”, and under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of the Supreme Energy Council in Dubai, the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority “Duaa” organizes the twenty -seventh session of the Water, Energy and Environment Technology Exhibition “Witix”, during the period from September 30 to October 2, at the Dubai World Trade Center.
“Witix” is the largest exhibition in the region in the energy, water, green development, sustainability sectors, relevant sectors, and one of the largest specialized exhibitions in the world.
His Excellency Saeed Mohammed Al -Tayer, Managing Director, CEO of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority, founder and head of the Water Technology, Energy and Environment Technology Exhibition “Witix”, stressed that the continuous support from the wise leadership enabled the exhibition, after more than a quarter of a century on its launch, to become a leading global event to support the transition to clean energy and the carbon neutrality path.
Al -Tayer said that the exhibition enhances the pioneering position of the United Arab Emirates between the countries of the Middle East and North Africa in adopting renewable energy technologies to keep pace with the increasing demand, and achieving the goals of the Emirates Strategy for Climate Neutrality 2050, and Dubai Clean Energy Strategy 2050, to establish Dubai’s position as a global capital for green economy and sustainable development, noting that “Witix” embodies an annual vitality platform that brings together thousands Local and international companies from the governmental and private sectors, as well as government representatives, policy makers, experts, researchers and specialists, to enhance the exchange of knowledge and review the latest technological innovations in vital areas that contribute to making a more sustainable, prosperous and safe future for all.
Last year, the “Witix” exhibition attracted 50,598 visitors from all over the world, and witnessed the participation of more than 2,800 companies from 65 countries, and included 21 international pavilions from all over the world.
