Under the patronage of Mansour bin Zayed, the Emirates World Cup for Arabian Horses continues its international presence in its third edition

Abu Dhabi, 22 April / WAM / Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the UAE, Deputy Prime Minister, Head of the Presidential Cabinet, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Arabian Horse Association, the Emirates World Cup for Arabian Horses continues in its third edition, amid a distinguished international presence and wide participation from elite owners and breeders from various continents of the world, in a new confirmation of the growing position that the tournament enjoys on the map of Arabian horse championships globally, and of the country’s leadership. The UAE supports owners and breeders of Arabian horses and enhances their international spread.
The Cup series is held under the supervision of His Excellency Sheikh Zayed bin Hamad Al Nahyan, Vice Chairman of the Association’s Board of Directors and Chairman of the Supreme Organizing Committee. The current edition includes several rounds held on various continents of the world, as an extension of the great successes achieved by the previous two editions, and the wide spread they witnessed and a remarkable turnout from the most prominent owners and breeders.
The first round of the third edition was held in Australia on January 30 and 31, 2026, while the tournament prepares to continue its international stations, as the second round will be held in the Bahrain Endurance Village in the sister Kingdom of Bahrain on April 25 and 26, in a new station that reflects the continuing momentum of the tournament and its growing importance.
The series of global rounds will continue after that, with the Kingdom of Morocco hosting the third round on May 9 and 10, followed by the fourth round in the United States of America during the period from September 16 to 19, then the fifth round in China on October 6 and 7, while the sixth round will be held in Italy on November 7 and 8, with the third edition’s competitions concluding in Brazil on November 14, 2026, in a global conclusion that reflects the spread of the tournament across various continents.
The Emirates World Cup for Arabian Horses consists of a series of unique tours aimed at encouraging breeders and owners of Arabian horses around the world, and highlighting the role of the UAE in preserving the heritage of Arabian horses and enhancing their international standing, in a way that embodies the country’s ambitious vision in supporting this authentic heritage, which represents one of the most important components of the Emirati national identity, and reflects the depth of Emirati society’s connection to Arabian horses and their ancient history.
The third edition of the Cup is an extension of the great successes it has achieved, as the rounds of this edition are held on all continents of the world, within a strategic vision that aims to reach the largest possible segment of Arabian horse owners and breeders, and to enhance the UAE’s presence as a global center for the preservation and development of Arabian horses.
The rounds of the second edition of the Cup witnessed the participation of 791 horses belonging to about 460 owners, while the total value of the financial prizes amounted to 3 million and 986 thousand dirhams, and the number of winning horses reached 488 horses, and the number of winning owners was 342 owners, in a clear indication of the growing international status of the tournament, and the pioneering role of the UAE in supporting owners and breeders of Arabian horses and consolidating its presence on the map of international camel championships.
These numbers and the continued global spread of the Emirates World Cup for Arabian Horses confirm the prestigious position that the UAE occupies in supporting the Arabian horse sector, and enhancing its presence as one of the most prominent leading countries in the world in preserving this ancient cultural heritage.
