Emirates Pavilion in "Expo 2025 Osaka" It opens its doors to the world

Osaka, April 13 / WAM / The UAE opened today its national pavilion at the “Expo 2025 Osaka -Kansai” to welcomes the world in an experience that mixes the legacy of heritage, the spirit of innovation and international cooperation in various fields.
A group of senior Emirati officials inaugurated the pavilion, led by His Excellency Dr. Sultan Ahmed Al -Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology, the UAE’s Special Envoy to Japan, His Excellency Noura Bint Mohammed Al Kaabi, Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, His Excellency Shehab Ahmed Al Fahim, Extraordinary Ambassador to the UAE to Japan, and the Commissioner of the State Pavilion in Expo 2025 Osaka – Kansai, in addition to many Vearist visitors and guests from the UAE, Japan and around the world.
The design of the pavilion from the palm tree, with its historical and heritage symbolism, was inspired, highlighting the contemporary treatment of the Al -Arish style derived from the traditional Emirati architecture, by integrating agricultural palm waste with the ingenuity of the Japanese carpentry.
The most prominent architectural feature in a “forest” consisting of 90 columns of Yarid, rising up to 16 meters to form a remarkable visual scene.
The UAE’s pavilion in the “Expo 2025 Osaka” embodies the spirit of global cooperation, as it combines Emirati, Japanese and international experiences within a participatory design process that mixes originality and innovation, under the umbrella of “a group of land to ether for design”, which is a multidisciplinary network, to serve as a testimony to integrated global cooperation.
Visitors inside the pavilion enjoy an overwhelming multi -sensation experience that celebrates the UAE explorators in space, its pioneers in health care, sustainability secretaries, through multimedia, structural artworks, and carefully studied interior design.
His Excellency Dr. Sultan Ahmed Al -Jaber said that participating in the ‘Expo Osaka’ aims to highlight the efforts of the UAE aimed at transforming aspirations into realistic achievements, in a way that contributes to enhancing energy security, building partnerships and creating qualitative opportunities for economically glory investments by taking advantage of artificial intelligence and advanced technology, qualifying, training and refining the competencies, skills and capabilities of human cadres, and achieving a qualitative shift. In updating and developing the industrial sector, providing comprehensive solutions for all.
He stressed that the strong partnership with Japan and with friendly countries around the world will contribute to drawing features of a future that focuses on achieving sustainable economic and social growth.
In turn, His Excellency Noura Al -Kaabi said that participating in the “Expo 2025 Osaka” represents an extension of long -term participation with the world through the platforms that encourage dialogue, cooperation and the pursuit of joint progress, stressing that returning to Osaka in particular is important as it witnessed the participation of Abu Dhabi for the first time in the “Expo” global exhibition in 1970.
For his part, Shehab Al -Fahim said that the importance of the wing is not limited to reviewing the achievements, but it is also a platform for influential exchange and strong partnership, expressing pride in telling the Emirates story in Osaka and deepening the special relationship between the UAE and Japan, which extends over five decades and continues to grow through common ambition and mutual respect.
The UAE and Japan shared their rooted values and have a long -term strategic partnership that extends for more than 50 years and includes cooperation in the energy, trade, education, culture, space and technology sectors, and the first participation of Abu Dhabi in the “Expo” exhibition has formed a historical milestone in the prosperous relations between the UAE and Japan, and after more than five decades, the UAE returns to Osaka with a collective approach in design that confirms on The firm cooperation between the two countries.
The group of young ambassadors consisting of 46 young men, including 24 Emirati youths, play a major role in the UAE pavilion; To embody the pride of the spirit of the state and the story of its successes on the global scene; They take guests on a trip to discover the innovations of the Emirates, their heritage and international partnerships, along with 20 Japanese youth and two expatriates residing in Japan, who speak together seven languages.
The pavilion reflects the national priorities of the UAE and its sectors that look forward to the future, and enjoy the support of a group of Emirati national companies, such as the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company “ADNOC”, “Space 42”, and the company “Burjahth”, and the Department of Culture and Tourism- Abu Dhabi.
For six months, the UAE pavilion will host a vital program of events, including forums, workshops and cultural programs that focus on sustainability, movement, youth and innovation issues, and visitors can also discover Emirati cuisine in the wing restaurant, and in the wing shop, the acquisition of exclusive products specifically designed to share the UAE in Expo, as well as a space designated for various workshops.
