100 bikes in a race "Jess Ride" For bicycles

Ras Al -Khaimah on April 14 / WAM / The Ras Al Khaimah Authority for Tourism Development organized a “Jess Ride” race, the first bicycle race of its kind to be held on Mount Jais, after hosting the third stage of the UAE Tour, where “Jess Ride” attracted more than 100 bicycles.
Raky Phillips, CEO of the Authority, said that the “Jess Ride” bicycle race is a real reflection of societal interdependence in Ras Al Khaimah, and an embodiment of our vision of upgrading the quality of life through global sports and tourism events, and we are proud to launch this distinguished experience on Mount Jess, which is one of the most beautiful natural destinations in the Emirates.
The race included a series of organized competitions, and the end point was 23.5 km, as the cyclists had to end each stage within a specific time to continue progress in the race.
The winners of the various categories were honored on the coronation platform at the closing ceremony, as the total prizes reached 10,000 dirhams that were distributed to the winners.
The fastest contestant, Suleiman Minawal, the former professional cyclist from Morocco, who is 26 years old and the representative of the Yassi Bicycle Team, ended the race in a time of 1:16:56, while the fastest contest was Australian Madison Black, who is 27 years old, from the Dubai Bicycle Police team, and recorded a time of 1:38:55. The race was held with the support of the Ras Al Khaimah Police, the Rak Hospitality Holding Company, and many of the main sides that contributed to making it a sophisticated and unforgettable experience.
