Young ambassadors in Expo Osaka contribute to building a positive image of the UAE globally

Osaka, April 17 / WAM / The youth ambassadors participating in the UAE wing in Expo 2025 Osaka- Kansai embody the national vision in enabling young competencies and enhancing their presence in international forums, through their active roles that highlight the Emirati identity and establish the state’s status as a beacon for tolerance, innovation and cultural communication.
A number of young ambassadors from the Emirati cadres in statements to the Emirates News Agency “WAM” on the sidelines of their participation in this global event, that their presence in the state wing represents a qualitative opportunity to convey a realistic image of the aspirations and achievements of the Emirati youth, and contribute to promoting cultural and knowledge dialogue with the peoples of the world.
Ahmed Al -Darai, a youth ambassador to the UAE wing, said that his participation in Expo Osaka represents an extension of an academic and professional trip that started in Japan and continued in the Emirates Space Agency, noting that the transfer of the state’s experience in the space sector to the global public through the “Space Explore” section contributes to enhancing awareness of the scientific capabilities of the state and reflects the association of scientific progress with the roots of the Emirati cultural identity.
He pointed out that the UAE pavilion will witness during the coming period the organization of specialized dialogue activities in the space sector, with the participation of experts from different countries of the world, with the aim of discussing opportunities for international cooperation and exchanging experiences in this vital field, pointing out his keenness to enhance cultural dialogue by benefiting from his experiences in the space sector and introducing the Emirates Space Agency.
For her part, Sarah Al-Sayari, one of the youth’s ambassadors in the pavilion, reviewed their training journey that the 46 young men and women were underwent, including 24 Emiratis, before the launch of the Expo 2025 Osaka-Kansai in a month, as the training included multiple fields, including the protocol, the arts of dealing with visitors, and the procedures related to emergency situations.
Al -Sayari explained the duties of the ambassadors, which are distributed on six main stations in the pavilion, who alternate between them to provide an interactive explanation of the visitors about the contents and messages of the wing in about seven languages, which reflects the cultural diversity and openness that characterizes the state and the wing, stressing that participation enhances their practical capabilities and expanded from their future horizons.
Among the participating youth ambassadors, Saif Tahnoun, one of the ambassadors of the state wing, stressed that the intensive training period before the launch of Expo enabled the young ambassadors to perform the roles professionally in receiving visitors and accompanying them during their tour of the wing of 15 to 20 minutes, noting the importance of highlighting the values of welcome and hospitality, which is an authentic part of the Emirati culture. Saif Tahnoon added that the youth ambassadors contribute to building a positive and comprehensive image of the UAE to the global public, through their direct interaction and their belief in the mission of the wing and its goals, pointing to the wide turnout witnessed by the wing from visitors residing in Japan and abroad.
