"Federal Youth": Young people are partners in the design of the digital future of the Emirates

Dubai, April 21 / WAM / His Excellency Khaled Al -Nuaimi, Director General of the Federal Youth Corporation, confirmed that young people in the UAE are not just consumers of technology and artificial intelligence, but rather real partners in building the digital future, and in designing government services that they use.
Al -Nuaimi said in a statement to the Emirates News Agency “WAM” on the sidelines of the Forum for the Empowerment of Digital Communities in the Emirate of Dubai, which was organized today in the Dubai of the Communications Regulatory Authority and the digital government “Tadra” that young people are the most interactive category with artificial intelligence tools, and therefore they must be enabled to move from mere use, to the stage of awareness, then active participation in developing solutions and services.
He pointed out that the Federal Youth Foundation is working to involve young people from the age of 15 to 35 years, and provides them with possible possibilities to be part of an integrated system that supports their future journey in its various fields.
Al -Naimi explained that there are more than 200 youth councils in the country, and there are specialized youth councils according to sectors in areas such as humanitarian affairs and sustainability, for example, as well as local councils in all emirates of the state.
He pointed out that these councils play a pivotal role in supporting young people, and enabling them to provide innovative ideas and solutions to existing challenges in their institutions and societies.
Al -Naimi stressed that artificial intelligence today constitutes a historical opportunity to build a generation capable of influencing and making the future, pointing out that the real challenge is not only in keeping pace with technology developments, but also in building the young man in the midst of this accelerating change, and enhancing his moral and intellectual capabilities in addition to technical skills.
Al -Naimi said that artificial intelligence has begun to take many tasks, which requires us to focus not only on technical skills, but also on flexibility and the ability to make decisions, and to understand and deal with artificial intelligence tools with high ethics.
He added that it is important to teach young people how to use artificial intelligence tools in a conscious way, and to ensure the authenticity of the data they enter, and to evaluate the outputs of intelligence models instead of taking them as Muslim.
