"Islamic affairs" Honor the second batch of imams and Indonesian preachers
Abu Dhabi, April 24/ WAM/ The General Authority for Islamic Affairs, Endowments and Zakat honored the second batch of Indonesian imams and preachers, and granted them certificates of appreciation and achievement for their participation in specialized courses in Abu Dhabi, organized by the authority to raise their efficiency in practicing religious discourse and developing their capabilities, enabling them to establish the values of tolerance and peaceful coexistence between all components of society, and confront intellectual currents The extremist, with wisdom, thought and competence.
The honor was attended by His Excellency Dr. Omar Habtoor Al -Darai, head of the General Authority for Islamic Affairs, Endowments and Zakat, and His Excellency Ahmed Rashid Al -Neyadi, Director General of the Authority, and a number of officials.
Dr. Al -Darai thanked the Indonesian imams and preachers for their attendance, which comes within the “Training of International Imams and Preaching” program organized by the authority, and hosts a group of imams and preachers from various brotherly and friendly countries, to raise their academic level and inform them of the state’s efforts to improve religious discourse, to transfer this experience to their institutions and brothers in their countries, in order to enhance the efforts of the rational leadership And its initiatives to establish peace throughout the world.
His Excellency called on the imams to benefit from the outputs of this session, and contribute to the delivery of the values of the tolerant religion, to enhance its humanitarian approach and spread peace among societies, so that everyone can enjoy safety and reassurance, stressing the rise of cooperation between the United Arab Emirates and the Republic of Indonesia in religious affairs and various fields.
On their part, the imams and preachers expressed their appreciation to the UAE, and its keenness to consolidate the tolerant meanings stemming from the teachings of the true religion and spread peace and tolerance among the peoples, and this is the known approach to its people and its leadership, thanking the General Authority for Islamic Affairs, Endowments and Zakat for the good hosting and organization of this rich program with scientific materials and advanced training workshops, confirming their benefit from its activities In addition to performing their duties and mission.
