He said in a statement to the Emirates News Agency “WAM” on the sidelines of his participation in the “Dubai AI Festival”, that the basic policies in artificial intelligence are similar around the world, but the difference lies in how to apply it according to the sector, whether it is health, agriculture, energy, or infrastructure, and what the UAE does is exceptional, it has succeeded in designing a flexible legislative system and stimulating innovation.
He pointed out that his presence in the Emirates within the festival comes in light of the efforts of the state of Maharashtra – which is one of the leading states in adopting artificial intelligence technologies at the level of India – to explore the opportunities for partnership and cooperation with institutions and companies participating in the festival, as well as studying governments experiences in organizing and developing this vital sector.
He added: “We are currently looking for new partnerships and cooperation agreements between governments, in addition to launching joint initiatives in training and developing skills,” expressing his optimism about the possibility of concluding new deals or partnerships during his participation in the festival.
