Technology companies leaders: Artificial intelligence will rise to customer experiences in vital sectors

Dubai, April 24/ WAM/ The leaders of international technology companies emphasized that artificial intelligence applications will rise to customer experiences to unprecedented levels in the near future, especially in vital sectors such as aviation, services and health care, during their participation in the work of the “Dubai AI in” Dubai AI Week “, which is held under the auspices of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense, and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Dubai Future Foundation.
In a session entitled “practical applications for artificial intelligence in the aviation sector”, Melanie Braian from Emirates Airlines said that the aviation sector is one of the sectors that are most subject to all joints of work to laws and regulations, and this makes them one of the sectors eager to keep pace with innovation and advanced technology.
She added that the development in advanced technology applications helped to improve the level of coordination between all parties to the operational operations in the aviation sector, which led to an improvement in monitoring and tracking the workflow, pointing out that in the same context, the Emirates Airline Laboratory helps to experiment and expand the uses of artificial intelligence applications.
For his part, Pedro Alalis, from Seata to provide information technology services in the air transport sector, said that his company is working in providing information technology services in the air transport sector, and thus dealing directly with border bodies, and faces similar challenges to those in the aviation sector, such as increasing demand and urgent need to improve operational efficiency.

During a session entitled “Artificial intelligence and enhancing climate flexibility in the UAE”, Professor Dr. Mohamed Dawood, a first adviser to the Environment Authority- Abu Dhabi, said that artificial intelligence contributes to the operation of tanks and dams.
He pointed out that artificial intelligence and the Internet of Things can be used to monitor groundwater layers and improve artificial recharge to manage them properly, and that the authority helps in developing different scenarios and linking global climate change models to groundwater management models and water resources at the local level, pointing out that by integrating the two, future effects can be better understood and develop policies and strategies suitable for sustainable water management.
For his part, Prof. Dr. Mohamed El -Yafi, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture and Food at the United Arab Emirates University, said that global population growth is one of the most important factors that can form the future, as the world’s population is currently 8 billion people, and within 20 to 25 years – by 2050 or 2055 – this number will exceed 10 billion, and more than 50% of the workforce works in many countries already in the fields of food and food security or sector Water, there are many challenges, and we have to think about how to treat it proactively.

He added that Dubai and the United Arab Emirates are important markets for them – as this is a country, government and system that is not only concerned with artificial intelligence, but to integrate it in all fields, and it has the best airports and airlines in the world that have achieved success in all sectors.
