“Businessmen” is looking to enhance economic ties with the Chinese Council for the Promotion of International Trade

Ahmed bin Hindi, President of the Bahraini Businessmen Association, met with a delegation from the Chinese Council for the Promotion of International Trade (the Gulf Office) in the presence of Nabil Ajour, the association’s secretary and Mr. Jamal Al -Kohaji, a member of the board of directors, to discuss ways to enhance and develop economic ties between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the friendly Republic of China.
In the beginning of the meeting, Bin Hindi praised the strong economic relations that bring together the two friendly countries, stressing the Bahraini Businessmen Association to develop joint relations with the Chinese Council for the Promotion of International Trade and work to achieve more gains for the private sector.
Bin Hindi stressed the need to work to explore new opportunities for cooperation and create more joint projects in order to increase the volume of inter -trade and double the joint investments and the movement of import and export, praising the development and growth between the trade relations between the two sides in recent years and mutual keenness to consolidate economic ties and proceed with new horizons where the People’s Republic of China is one of the largest commercial partners of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
For his part, the Chinese Council for the Promotion of International Trade praised the role of the Bahraini Businessmen Association in strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries at the level of the private sector, noting the desire of the Chinese side to deepen economic cooperation and enhance commercial partnerships with the business sector in the Kingdom of Bahrain in a way that benefits the two sides by enabling the private sector to play its role in raising economic relations to the highest levels.
