"ADNOC Gas" An agreement is signed with a company "Hindustan Petroleum" To supply LNG

Abu Dhabi, August 4 / WAM / ADNOC Gas BLC signed the main items of a 10 -year agreement with the Indian company “Hindustan Petroleum”, to supply 0.5 million metric tons annually of liquidation natural gas.

This agreement confirms the growing attendance of the “ADNOC Gas” company in the global LNG markets, especially in the continent of Asia, which is witnessing a continuous increase in the demand for this vital resource, and contributes to enhancing the company’s position as a reliable international resource for LNG.

This long -term agreement also contributes to strengthening partnership relations with the main Indian energy companies in its continuous endeavor to support energy security in India, after the recent agreements signed by “ADNOC Gas” with both the “Indian Oil Company” and “Jill Company Ltd.”.

On this occasion, Fatima Al -Nuaimi, CEO of ADNOC Gas Company, said that the long -term agreement with Hindustan Petroleum Company, which represents the third agreement of its kind that ADNOC Gas signed with Indian energy companies in the past year, is evidence of the established partnership between the UAE and India in the field of energy, and emphasizes the contribution to meeting the growing global demand for the growing natural gas reliable and support India’s ambition to increase the natural gas share in its energy mix to 15% by 2030.

LNG will be supplied from the Das Foundation for the Laying gas of ADNOC Gas Company, which has a production capacity of 6 million tons annually.

It is noteworthy that the Das facility, which is the third oldest liquefied natural gas facility in the world, has exported more than 3,500 liquefied natural gas to all parts of the world.

ADNOC Gas is one of the main pillars in the efforts to implement the strategy of the “ADNOC” group aimed at increasing its production capacity of natural gas and the exports of natural gas to the global markets, and natural gas is an important transportation fuel, as it is characterized by less carbon emissions compared to other fossil fuels, and it also represents an essential raw material for value chains for the industrial sector.
