Dubai, April 24 / WAM / His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, affirmed that human tolerance and comprehensive values must be pivotal elements in directing the rapid development of artificial intelligence (AI), ensuring that this technology contributes to enriching human life instead of harming or destabilizing it.
This came during his speech in the third edition of the summit of “The machines can see 2025”, which was held in the “Future Museum” in Dubai, where His Excellency highlighted the city’s position as a global center for innovation, cooperation and the development of responsible artificial intelligence.
The summit is part of the “Dubai AI Week 2025”, which was held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Dubai Future Foundation, organized by the Dubai Artificial Intelligence Center, one of the Foundation’s initiatives, in the Future Museum, and a number of other sites in Dubai.
His Excellency said: “I am pleased to be with you at the summit of“ The machines can see ”for this year, and I am honored to hold this conference under the generous patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and I extend my sincere thanks and gratitude to His Highness for his strong and effective support for all useful initiatives that benefit society and have a high human value, as I welcome all of you Your ideas about artificial intelligence in this important conference, and I thank the Dubai Future Foundation, the AI office in the Emirates, and all the organized and supportive bodies.
His Excellency added: “It is completely natural for this conference to be held in Dubai. His Excellency continued: “We fully realize in the UAE the power of artificial intelligence in accelerating and changing human activities. We agree with the essence of this conference that the use of these tools to serve the human well -being requires a deliberate analysis of all aspects of this tremendous place. The summit is one of the most prominent international forums in artificial intelligence, machine learning, computer vision, and robots, and more than 2000 international delegates from senior researchers and government leaders participated.
It was organized by the Polynome Group, under the auspices of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, as one of the most prominent activities of Dubai AI, confirmation of Dubai’s ambitions as a global capital of artificial intelligence.
