An integrated cultural program .. The Kingdom’s pavilion decorates the Muscat International Book Fair

Today, the Literature, Publishing and Translation Authority inaugurated the Kingdom’s wing participating in the Muscat International Book Fair 2025, which is held at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Center during the period from April 24 to May 3, in the Omani capital, Muscat, with the participation of 35 countries and 674 publishing houses.
The CEO of the Literature, Publishing and Translation Authority, Dr. Abdullatif Al -Wasel, confirmed that the Kingdom’s participation in the Muscat International Book Fair 2025 comes from the strong cultural relations that link the Kingdom and the Sultanate of Oman, as the authority seeks to enhance joint cooperation in the fields of literature, publishing and translation due to the prosperity witnessed by the Kingdom and the Sultanate of Oman in the cultural movement and knowledge progress.

He indicated that the exhibition is a supportive opportunity to manufacture the book and publish, with the knowledge of Saudi publishers to communicate with their counterparts from all over the world.
The Literature, Publishing and Translation Authority is led by the Kingdom’s participation in the Muscat International Book Fair 2025, with the participation of a number of prominent cultural and educational bodies, which includes the King Salman International Complex for Arabic, King Abdulaziz Department, King Abdulaziz Public Library, the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance, King Fahd Complex for the Printing of the Noble Qur’an, and the Publishing Association, alongside Taibah University.
This participation comes within the framework of the Kingdom’s efforts to enhance cultural relations with the Sultanate of Oman, and to expand the areas of joint cooperation, as well as promote investment opportunities in the cultural sector, in line with the targets of the Kingdom’s 2030 vision in making culture a tributary for development and a bridge for civilization.
Throughout the exhibition, the Kingdom’s pavilion reviews the features of the creative diversity in the Saudi cultural scene, through an integrated cultural program that includes literary seminars, dialogue sessions and poetry evenings with the participation of a group of Saudi speakers and writers.
