Emirates University launches a master’s education and the first of its kind in the country

Al Ain, April 25/ WAM/ The Faculty of Education at the United Arab Emirates University announced the launch of a master’s program in raising talented and outstanding people, to be the first program of its kind within the institutions of higher education in the country.

Prof. Ali Ibrahim, Dean of the Acting College of Education, said that the qualitative program comes within the framework of the college’s strategy to develop graduate studies programs, and to upgrade educational specializations in line with the requirements of the educational field, and in cooperation with William and Mary College, “the leading American education in the field of talented education.

He added that this program was prepared according to the academic policy and standards adopted at the university, after an in -depth field study for the needs of the educational field, especially with regard to the care of people with determination and the development of the capabilities of educational cadres working with them, indicating that the program aims to prepare teachers and specialists who have advanced competencies in the areas of talented and outstanding education.

The program is present in a presence at the headquarters of the Emirates University, over four semesters in the full -time system, or five semesters in the part -time system, with the ability to join online an Internet, presented by the Gifted Education Center at William and Mary, the international partner in the United States.

The program enables its graduates to work as specialists in talented and outstanding education, and to provide academic and social support to outstanding students in schools and society, in a way that contributes to enhancing the quality of specialized education in the country.

To join the program, the applicant must have a cumulative rate of no less than 3.0 “or equivalent” at a bachelor’s degree, as well as obtaining a 6.0 degree in the “IELTS” test or its equivalent, provided that it has not been two years since this certificate has been obtained, in addition to submitting three recommendations.
