Hamdan bin Mohammed is directed to organize the “AI@70” conference within “Dubai Artificial Intelligence Week 2026”

His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Dubai Foundation for the Future, directed today, Friday, organizing a new conference in the next year of the “Dubai AI Week” hosting the elite of artificial intelligence experts in the world to develop a comprehensive road map for the next seventy years with the aim of harnessing artificial intelligence to serve all humanity.

His Highness said: “Dubai will celebrate during the next session of the Dubai AI in the 70th anniversary of the announcement of the term” artificial intelligence “for the first time in history at the Dartmouth conference in 1956 and in the footsteps of this announcement that changed the world, we announce the organization of the” AI@70 “conference during” Dubai AI Week 2026 “in cooperation with the American University of Dthmouth to host the elite experts and specialists about about The world in Dubai and we will discuss its developments during the past seventy years and draw the features of its chances and future in the next seventy years.

This global event is held under the title “Towards Global Humanity” and will present a platform for the exchange of visions and ideas and a deep dialogue between the brightest minds and the most prominent experts in artificial intelligence, business, technology, philosophy, art and science about the basic philosophical questions that constitute the research base for the era of artificial intelligence and its future.

The event is a prelude to the launch of the “Humanity Lab”, an incubator with a program that extends for eight weeks, that is, the same period that the first Dartmouth conference took.

The program will be held at the “Dubai Dubai Ai Campus”, with the aim of integrating art, philosophy and technology to develop a new generation of artificial intelligence products, which reflects the deep effects that this field has on humanity.
