He pointed out that these wells formed the main life artery of the residents of the region, and contributed to the sustainability of settlement in prominent historical villages such as the village (Lina), which contains more than 300 wells, and in the village of (Luke) about 300 wells, which reflects its importance as active human centers throughout the ages.

He stated that the ancient village (Zabala) contains dozens of wells, which were providing its inhabitants and the two passers -by on the road to Zubaida with water, while the village of Al -Duwaid contains more than 200 wells, as well as many wells spread in Umm Radmah, Al -Hubaqa, Qaisouma Fayhan, Kahda Al -Kajda, Ayouj Lini, Al -Musaqi, Al -Khushbi, and other sites that represented the centers of old tribes.

Heritage and tourist attractions

The tourist guide and interested in heritage behind Al -Ghafili stated that the process of drilling wells was done in accurate traditional methods, by inferring the presence of groundwater by listening to the sound of water flowing under the ground, and the use of sticks or iron bars to determine their places.
