"Expo Osaka" One million visitors exceeded in 13 days

Tokyo on April 27 / WAM / The number of visitors to the “Expo 2025 Osaka” exhibition exceeded the million barrier on the thirteenth day of the launch of its activities, according to what the organizer announced.
The exhibition, which aims to attract more than 28 million visitors until the thirteenth of next October, will be held on the artificial island of Yimishima in the Gulf of Osaka.
The opening day of the exhibition, corresponding to the thirteenth of April, recorded the highest daily attendance rate of 124 thousand visitors, but the numbers have decreased since then to less than 100 thousand visitors per day.
Organizers seek to achieve average daily visits of 150,000 visitors to reach their ambitious goal.
The employees of the exhibition celebrated the number of visitors to one million, based on statistics that included workers and the media.
It should be noted that during Japan’s hosting of the Expo 2005 exhibition in Aichi Governorate, it took seventeen days of visitors to reach the number of visitors from the opening date.
