Dubai Roads launches a new bus line between Dubai and Sharjah and develops other lines

Dubai, April 28 / WAM / The Roads and Transport Authority in Dubai will launch a new line of transport buses across cities with the number (E308), and links the stadium bus station in Dubai and the Jubail bus station in Sharjah, as part of the authority’s efforts to expand the public bus network and enhance the linking with other mass transportation, and the tariff of one trip on the new line is 12 dirhams.

Adel Shakeri, Director of the Planning and Business Development Department at the Public Transportation Corporation in the authority, stressed that the launch of the new line comes within the framework of the continuous endeavor of the public transport network with the metro, tram and marine transport, which contributes to making mass transportation the best option for transportation in Dubai.

In the same context, the authority starts from the same day to develop a number of bus lines by making adjustments to its paths with the aim of improving the daily movement of passengers and increasing the level of comfort and efficiency in mass transportation services.

The amendments included ending the 17th line service at the Baniyas Metro Station instead of the Al -Sabkha bus station, changing the path of line 24 within the Nahda 1 area, and adjusting the line of the 44 line from Rabat Street to Dubai Festival City, in addition to extending the line of 56 line to reach the village of the Dubai International Center employees.

The amendments also included adding a bus position in the Al -Rawiyah Farm area of ​​66 and 67, shortening the 32C line to be between the Jafleh Bus Station and the Al -Sattawa bus station with the possibility of using the F27 line for passengers heading to the area of ​​Al -Sattawa, and transferring the position of the C26 line to the position of Max Metro South 2 instead of the Jafliya station.

It also included the end of the E16 line service at the Al -Ittihad bus station instead of the Al -Sabkha Bus Station, the abbreviation of the F12 line between the Al -Sattawa roundabout and the Al -Wasl Park with its conversion to Kuwait Street, in addition to transferring the F27 line position to the position of Max Metro South 2, and the transfer of the F47 line within the Jabal Ali industrial area.

The F54 line was also extended to cover the new housing in the southern Jafza area, and the X92 line was transferred to the position of Max Metro South 1 instead of the Jafliya station.

The authority emphasized that these steps come within the framework of its continuous plan to develop the mass transportation network, in a way that contributes to raising the efficiency of daily movement and enhances easy access to various vital destinations in the Emirate of Dubai.
