Sharjah Chamber reviews investment opportunities in front of a Kuwaiti delegation

Sharjah, April 28 / WAM / The Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry discussed with a diplomatic delegation from the sisterly State of Kuwait ways to enhance economic and trade relations and coordination to exchange commercial delegations and host joint business activities in a way that contributes to the development and development of mutual investment cooperation in various fields and enhances partnership between business societies.
This came during a meeting of His Excellency Abdullah Sultan Al Owais, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry today at the Chamber’s headquarters, His Excellency Khaled Abdel Rahim Al Zaabi, the Consul General of the State of Kuwait in Dubai and the Northern Emirates, in the presence of His Excellency Mohammed Ahmed Amin Al -Awadi, Director General of Sharjah Chamber Sharjah and Kuwait and motivate companies in various sectors to increase information exchange on investment opportunities.
Al -Owais praised the depth of brotherly relations and ties between the two brotherly countries, which is witnessing a remarkable development and growth in all fields, especially at the economic and commercial levels, as the value of non -oil trade between the UAE and Kuwait during the first 11 months of 2024 amounted to about 45.4 billion dirhams with an annual growth of 7.2% compared to the same period from 2023.
He stressed the importance of continuing momentum in economic cooperation relations and the need to strengthen it by increasing trade exchange and developing bilateral economic relations in the industrial, commercial and investment fields and work to intensify the exchange of commercial delegations visits and the contract of business forums and the opening of more communication channels to increase coordination between the business community in the two countries and enhance economic partnerships, reviewing the services provided by the Sharjah Chamber to its members from private sector companies, business owners, investors and initiatives that It implements it to support and innovate economic work.
The Chamber reviewed before the visiting delegation the investment opportunities available in the Emirate of Sharjah, highlighting what the emirate and its institutions provide attractive incentives for investors, and drew attention to the multiple advantages that it provides that would provide companies from Kuwait the best opportunities to establish centers for their businesses and their main industries, establish projects and enhance their successes, especially in light of the modern infrastructure and services that Sharjah are distinguished Advanced logistics, flexible legislation and a vital geographical location.
