Macron announces the killing of a French soldier and the wounding of 3 in an attack in southern Lebanon

A French soldier was killed and 3 others were wounded on Saturday in southern Lebanon, in an attack targeting a peacekeeping force, according to what French President Emmanuel Macron announced, pointing out that "All indications indicate that responsibility lies with Hezbollah"

This came in a post by Macron on the XN France platform "Bowing in reverence and expressing its support to the families of our soldiers and to all our soldiers engaged for peace in Lebanon, France calls on the Lebanese authorities to immediately stop the perpetrators and assume their responsibilities alongside the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL).".
