During the first quarter of 2025, the volume of handling in the port exceeded the level prescribed by 26%, which clearly reflects the growing strategic role of the port in facilitating the commercial movement in the region, and supporting the growth of the Egyptian economy.
The exports of the refrigerated container formed a large part of this growth; Egypt continues its efforts to consolidate its position as one of the most prominent citrusters in the world.
