The President of the State confirms the UAE’s support for everything that achieves the aspirations of the Lebanese people towards stability and development

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, and Joseph Aoun, President of the Lebanese Republic, discussed today … different aspects of brotherly relations and ways to develop cooperation and joint work in the interest of the two countries and their two brotherly peoples.

This came during the reception of His Highness – at the Beach Palace in Abu Dhabi – the Lebanese President who is on an official visit to the UAE, where His Highness welcomed the guest president, wishing him success in leading brotherly Lebanon to everything that achieves stability, development and prosperity for its people and that Lebanon returns to its important position in its Arab, regional and global surroundings.

The two sides also reviewed a number of regional and international issues and files of common concern and exchanged views on them … stressing the need to work in order to enhance the causes of stability and peace in the region for the benefit of all their peoples.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan stressed during the meeting … that the relations between the UAE and Lebanon are historical and the Emirati and Lebanese peoples gather ties of love, appreciation and mutual respect, noting that His Highness is that the reopening of the Emirati embassy in Beirut embodies the UAE’s commitment to supporting Lebanon and aspiring towards a new stage of fruitful relations between the two countries.

His Highness stressed the position of the UAE in support of the promotion of the Lebanese state institutions and its role in preserving sovereignty, security and stability in the country, in addition to supporting the unity of Lebanon and the integrity of its lands.

For his part, Joseph Aoun expressed his thanks to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan for the warm reception, and his appreciation of the position of His Highness the supportive and supportive of Lebanon … stressing the keenness to strengthen Lebanon’s relations with the Emirates in various fields for the good of their people.
