Airport Gallery 2025 reviews the latest ground support equipment technology

Dubai, April 30 / WAM / The airport exhibition, which will be held twenty -fourth from 6 to 8 May at the Dubai World Trade Center, brings together the latest ground handling technology under one roof to serve global airports seeking to enhance their services and profitability, and adhere to the international standards recognized to reduce their carbon marching.

According to the organizers of the exhibition, airports in the region invest hundreds of millions of dollars to enhance their infrastructure and modern facilities that are among the best in the world, especially in the field of acquiring electrical ground support equipment within its aging for sustainability and reducing carbon emissions.
Electrical support equipment is one of the most prominent sectors that contribute to enhancing airports performance and increasing their profitability, and raising their readiness to deal with the great growth expected in the number of travelers during the next few years.
The exhibition includes many wings, including a wing for displaying the latest equipment and ground handling services with the support of Danata, and two wings dedicated to airports technologies and designs.

In addition, specialized conferences and workshops will be held, including the Global Forum for Airport Leaders, Airport Security Conference in the Middle East, and the Women’s Conference in the Middle East.
Mai Ismail, Director of Events at RX Global, which organizes more than 350 international events in 25 countries, including the airport exhibition, said that seeking to achieve faster rotating times, improving safety standards, and compliance with environmental regulations, led to the adoption of innovative and cost -effective solutions for ground handling equipment.
She added that airports operators invest in batteries that work to reduce emissions and reduce carbon fingerprint, and electrical handling equipment has revolutionized the way to carry out ground operations by providing cleaner and more efficient energy technology, and with progress in electrical technology and low batteries, airports are expected to rely on electrical equipment on a large scale, which indicates a significant growth of this market.
In turn, Jaafar Dawood, the first vice president of airport operations in the UAE in Danata, said that our vehicle’s fleet strategy focuses on gradual disposal of diesel engines and the transformation into electrical, hybrid or hydrogen equipment, and we are working closely with alternative fuel suppliers, and we recently converted all our non -electrical fleet in Dubai to work on biological diesel fuel, support these efforts Our commitment to reducing our carbon silence by 50% by 2030, as part of our eight -year operational strategy.

It is expected that the electrical ground handling services market will grow from 38,592 units in 2024 to 44,761 units by 2029, and the size of the global market for this industry is expected to reach $ 17.44 billion by 2032.
