The “Arab Travel Market” reflects Dubai’s leadership in organizing exhibitions

His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the National Olympic Committee, visited yesterday the Arab Travel Market Exhibition 2025, which concludes his work today, at the Dubai World Trade Center, after an extraordinary session, and record participation that included about 2,800 exhibitors from 161 countries, while the total number of visitors is expected to reach the conclusion of the most prominent event of its kind in the region to about 55 thousand visitors.
His Highness stopped during the visit at the most prominent participating platforms, whether local or global, and loses a number of international wings that included national and international bodies, and the most important and most famous names in the field of tourism and travel in the world.
His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum was keen to see the latest solutions provided by the leading airlines participating in the event, led by “Emirates Airlines”, “Etihad Air” and “Saudi Aviation”, as well as “Kuwaiti aviation”, where he continued an explanation about the development that affected the aviation sector, whether in terms of technology or equipment, as well as services that integrate between them to ensure the satisfaction of passengers.
His Highness also visited the wing of the Department of Economy and Tourism, as he reviewed what the department is proposing through the event to introduce the advanced tourism capabilities that the emirate has distinguished as a favorite tourist destination for visitors from around the world, whose number in 2024 reached 18.7 million visitors, in confirmation of the growing position of Dubai on the global tourism map, while the visit included the inspection of a police platform Dubai, where His Highness continued an explanation about its strategy aimed at contributing to enhancing the quality of life in the emirate, and its latest services and innovations in the tourism security sector, and the services it provides aimed at ensuring the highest levels of security and comfort for travelers and visitors.
His Highness’s stops in the exhibition included the Abu Dhabi Emirate and the Foundation of the Emirate of Sharjah, where His Highness expressed his appreciation for the development and continuous growth of the national travel market for the development of the elements of attractions provided by the UAE and enhances its attractiveness to the international visitor through the diversity and integration of the options provided along the emirates of the state.
His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum said in a post on his account on the X platform, yesterday: “Today I visited the activities of the Arab Travel Market Exhibition, whose largest version is held at the Dubai World Trade Center and will continue until Thursday, amid the participation of 2,800 exhibitors from 161 countries.”
His Highness added: “During the visit, I stopped at a number of national, regional and global wings participating in this event, which reflects the leadership of Dubai in the specialized exhibitions and events sector … We thank those in charge of the Arab Travel Market Exhibition, and we renew our welcome to all Dubai guests and its success partners.”
His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum was accompanied during the visit, Director General of the General Administration of Identity and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai, Lieutenant General Mohammed Ahmed Al Murri, and Executive Director of the Dubai Tourism and Trade Marketing Foundation, affiliated to the Department of Economy and Tourism in Dubai, Issam Kazem.
