المملكة: Reservation of 8 violating foreign trucks in the Kingdom and fined them 80 thousand riyals

The General Transport Authority announced today that its supervisory teams stopped 8 foreign trucks practicing the transport of goods in an irregular manner inside the Kingdom during the month of April 2025, and signed each truck of a fine of 10,000 riyals, as part of its continuous efforts to enhance control in the Kingdom, and ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.
She emphasized that she will not tolerate the application of regular procedures against violators, noting that a fine of 10,000 riyals will be raised on the violating foreign truck that practices transporting goods inside the Kingdom and seized them for a period of (15) days the first time.

The penalties will double in the event of the repetition of the violation, to reach the fine to 20 thousand riyals when the violation is repeated with the truck reservation (30) days, and 40 thousand riyals when the violation falls for the third time with the truck’s reservation (60) days, and 80 thousand riyals for the fourth time with the truck reservation for a period of (60) days.
In the event that the violator is committed, the violation for the fifth time, a fine of 160 thousand riyals is imposed, with the truck used for a period of (60) days, and the penalties include the confiscation of violating trucks, which deliberately repeat the violations and does not abide by the regulations.

The “Transport Authority” explained that its control teams carried out during April 2025 AD more than 1552 field examination operations, during which it resulted in the monitoring of 1462 violations in the various regions and cities of the Kingdom.
The capital, Riyadh, topped the list of the regions of the Kingdom, a registration of violations, with 462 violations, followed by the Asir region with 216 violations, then Al -Qassim by 2112, while Makkah Al -Mukarramah recorded 183, and Al -Madinah Al -Munawwarah was then replaced by 96, the eastern with 87, and Tabuk with 61, then Hail 50, while 95 violations were distributed to the rest of the regions and cities of the Kingdom.
