المملكة: The opening of the Future Games Conference at Al -Faisal University in Riyadh

Under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Sultan, President of the Saudi and Arab Federations for Electronic Sports, the President of Al -Faisal University, Dr. Mohammed bin Ali Al -Hayazah today, Thursday, Al -Faisal Conference for Games and Innovation 2025, hosted by Al -Faisal University in Riyadh, in the presence and participation of a group of local and international experts and speakers.

Prince Faisal stressed during a recorded speech, the importance of the conference in paving the way towards the upcoming summit at the university to develop games and innovation in January 2026, pointing to the role of Al -Faisal University and its partners in supporting and developing the gaming and electronic sports sector in the Kingdom, in line with the Vision 2030 and the national games strategy.

Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Sultan explained that the electronic games have turned from mere entertainment to a pivotal sector in the digital economy and an engine for innovation, praising the initiatives of Al -Faisal University that extend to the education and health care sectors.

The first batch in the development of games

The Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Advanced Computing d. Mohamed Annan that the conference is the first university event specialized in this field, and reflects the university’s commitment to sponsoring young talents, pointing to the graduation of the first batch in the path of developing games and digital media this year.

The activities included a tour of the accompanying exhibition, many lectures, dialogues and workshops on games development strategies, artificial intelligence houses, smart cities, education, metaphors, and talent investment.

The winners of the Hakathon Awards, the best developer, and the best player were also honored, in addition to graduating the first batch of the electronic sports program in partnership with Geng, and honoring the sponsors and partners.
