India .. 100 students poisoned a meal containing a dead snake

The authorities in India have opened an investigation into the poisoning of about a hundred students in the northeastern Asian state after eating a meal containing a dead snake, as mentioned today, Thursday.
The incident took place last week at a government school in Makama, Bihar, one of the poorest states in India.

100 pupils poisoning

The alert was announced after the appearance of pathological symptoms in a hundred out of 500 children who eaten in the school canteen.

The National Committee for Human Rights said on Thursday that “the cook apparently presented the students according to a deadly snake,” the police and local authorities were asked to conduct an investigation.

The committee considered that this incident “is that if it is confirmed a serious violation of the human rights of students.”
The health of the students caused great concern in the village, as the residents cut off the road to protest.
