“The National” discusses the government’s policy in managing and sustaining the endowment and zakat funds next Wednesday

The Federal National Council, headed by Saqr Ghobash, Chairman of the Council, holds its tenth session of the second regular session of the eighteenth legislative term, on Wednesday, May 7, 2025, in the Zayed Hall at the Council’s headquarters in Abu Dhabi, during which he discusses the issue of the government’s policy regarding the management and sustainability of the endowment and zakat funds and enhancing its societal role, and sends four questions to government representatives.

According to the agenda of the session, members of the Council will ask Dr. Abdul Rahman bin Abdul Mannan Al -Awar, Minister of Human Resources and Emiratisation, where Dr. Adnan Hamad Al Hammadi will ask two questions; About the work insurance system for disruption, and the paid -paid situation for maternal mothers in the private sector, and Walid Ali Al -Mansouri will ask a question about the exclusion of high school graduates from enrolling in the higher education system.

Aisha Ibrahim Al -Marri will ask the fourth question to Abdul Rahman bin Muhammad Al -Owais, Minister of Health and Community Protection, Minister of State for Federal National Council, about the lack of intensive care beds in hospitals, and its impact on the speed of saving patients.

The Council reviews a message issued to the government on the recommendations of the National Council on the issue of government policy regarding raising the efficiency of workers in the government sector, and on two messages from Abdul Rahman Muhammad Al -Owais, Minister of Health and Community Protection, Minister of State for Federal National Council Affairs, on the approval of the Council of Ministers to discuss the issues of government policy on the policies and programs of accepting students in higher education, scholarships and scholarships, to refer to the Committee of Education, Culture, Youth, Sports and Information, The subject of the government’s policy regarding pensions and social insurance, to refer to the Finance, Economic and Industrial Committee.

The Council also brings a federal bill received by the government regarding the adoption of the union’s closing account (the unified financial statements) for the fiscal year ending 12/31/2024 AD to refer to the Financial, Economic and Industrial Affairs Committee, and the report of the Education, Culture, Youth, Sports and Media Committee, which includes the recommendations of the government’s policy in promoting the role of government media to establish content and consolidate the national identity, which was discussed by the Council in His ninth session of its current session.
