Ahmed bin Saeed discusses cooperation with the head of the global markets in "PayPal"

Dubai, May 2/ WAM/ His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Supreme President of the UAE Airlines and the Group, Susan Keer, met the global market president at PayPal, the global digital trade platform, at the headquarters of the Emirates Group.
According to a press release issued today, discussions touched on the discussion of opportunities to develop relations between the two parties, which extend for more than 15 years, and to enhance cooperation frameworks in the advanced digital payment scene.
Emirates currently provides the option to pay via PayPal on its website in 34 countries.
The carrier during the past year witnessed a remarkable increase in the rates of use of PayPal, whether in terms of the number of users, the repetition of operations or the volume of transactions.
Paypal recently opened its first regional headquarters in Dubai to serve the Middle East and Africa, with the aim of supporting more consumers and companies in emerging economies, enhancing their capabilities in the field of trade, and enabling companies of all sizes to expand global markets.
The pace of Dubai’s transformation into a global financial technology center accelerates, benefiting from its strategic location, its business -supporting policies, and its advanced financial infrastructure, and the city succeeded in attracting major international companies in this sector, in parallel with supporting the growth of local startups, launching accelerators and groups for the sector, as well as the innovative “Sand Box” laboratories that allow testing new solutions.
