The United Nations Children’s Fund has warned & quot, today, Friday, that the children of the Gaza Strip are facing a growing threat of hunger, disease and death, and nothing justifies this after two months of the suffocating Israeli siege.
This came in a statement of UNICEF Executive Director Catherine Russell, the situation of children in the Gaza Strip highlights two months after the Israeli siege and prevent the entry of humanitarian aid, during which she renewed the demand to lift the siege on Gaza, allow the entry of commercial commodities, and protect children.
The UN official said: & quot; for two months, the children of the Gaza Strip faced continuous bombardment, deprived of goods, basic services and life -saving health care, and with every day the Israeli siege passes on the introduction of aid, they face an increasing danger of hunger, disease and death, and nothing justifies that & quot;
