President of the Arab Parliamentary Union: The Palestinian people support a firm commitment to the principles of liberation and justice
The President of the Arab Parliamentary Union, the President of the Algerian National People’s Assembly, Ibrahim Boughali, renewed today, Friday, that the support of the Palestinian people is not an emotional position, but a firm commitment to the principles of liberation and justice and is based on the historical positions of the Arab countries and their parliaments, pointing out that the Palestinian issue, with what it carries from a historical, humanitarian and political dimension, is still at the heart of our common Arab priorities. The Arab parliamentarian during the opening of the work of the 38th session of the Executive Committee of the Arab Parliamentary Union, Algiers, according to the Algerian News Agency (Waj). To the fact that the current meeting of the Arab Parliamentary Union in Algeria comes as an affirmation of the importance of continuous consultation and institutional coordination between member states, as it aims to develop the mechanisms of the union’s work to enable it to achieve its lofty goals and translate the aspirations of Arab peoples into practical and tangible steps, especially in light of the complex regional conditions and accelerated geopolitical transformations. The Palestinian, and the unprecedented human suffering in Gaza and other occupied lands, in addition to the challenges that threaten the security and stability of the region, put a great responsibility on the Arab countries, stressing that this responsibility requires a serious and decisive move that does not accept relaxation or equivalent.
