Cooperation between “Al -Alamy for Tolerance and Peace and the Arab Union for Tourism Media

Ahmed bin Muhammad Al -Jarwan, Chairman of the World Council for Tolerance and Peace, and His Excellency Dr. Sultan bin Khamis Al Yahyahi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Arab Federation for Tourism Media, signed a memorandum of understanding aimed at enhancing the bonds of cooperation and integration between the two sides in the fields of tourism media and spreading a culture of tolerance and peace.

The signing of this memorandum comes from the belief of the two parties to the importance of tourism as a soft power that contributes to bringing people closer and enhancing civilized dialogue, and the role of the media in promoting Arab tourist destinations and linking them to common human values.

The Memorandum of Understanding includes multiple areas of cooperation, the most prominent of which is the organization of activities, conferences and joint workshops concerned with inter -tourism and the spread of tolerance through the media, the exchange of expertise and specialized studies, and media coordination to promote Arab and humanitarian tourist initiatives and tourism sites.

The memorandum also includes cooperation in organizing forums that highlight the role of tourism media in achieving cultural rapprochement and coordination in relevant regional and international forums.

Ahmed bin Muhammad Al -Jarwan stressed that this partnership comes within the framework of supporting joint efforts to consolidate the culture of peace and tolerance, noting that the media and tourism are partners in spreading human values ​​and enhancing rapprochement between peoples.

For his part, Dr. Sultan bin Khamis Al -Yahyai stressed the importance of this step in supporting the Arab tourism media, and enhancing its role in providing the civilizational and cultural image of the Arab world, noting that the memo represents a new start for integration between tourism and tolerance as two soft, impressive powers.
