“Education” evaluates the experience of learning projects and expected updates in 2025

The Ministry of Education began conducting a comprehensive analytical study for the experience of learning and evaluation based on project, which was applied in the second semester for the first time on students of the second episode that includes the grades from the first to the fourth, in preparation for the adoption of an updated policy that enters the academic public application 2025-2026, in a qualitative step towards updating the school evaluation system and improving education outcomes.

The ministry said in statements to the media, that the secondary stage will not be included in the application of the project -based evaluation at the present time, as the form of the form will continue in the second episode only, within a flexible and periodic framework for development and periodic review based on the results of the evaluation and feedback from the educational field.

She stated that this study is based on a specialized ministerial team that works to implement extensive field visits to government schools in various regions of the country, to follow up how educational projects on the ground and their management mechanisms by the educational staff, as well as analyzing effective models of students’ work.

She explained that the study focuses on collecting quantitative and qualitative data through questionnaires directed to students, their parents and teachers, to determine the effectiveness of the experience from various educational and social angles.

The Ministry stated that the results of this evaluation study will be mainly formed to build a new policy, which will be announced details before the start of the next academic year 2025-2026, to be a unified national reference in implementing the project -based evaluation in the second episode.

The Ministry focuses on redefining the concept of evaluation in schools, from a mere measure of theoretical knowledge to a comprehensive process that focuses on the learner’s performance and his ability to use knowledge and skills in realistic and realistic situations.

The idea of ​​educational projects is based on evaluating the stages of work and the individual and collective effort exerted during the project implementation period, and not only on the final product, which enhances the values ​​of commitment, perseverance and actual engagement in the educational process.

Through this approach, the Ministry focuses on developing the skills of the 21st century for students, foremost of which are: critical thinking, problem solving, effective communication, and cooperation in teamwork environments, in addition to instilling a culture of constructive evaluation through continuous feedback between teachers and students.

The Ministry affirmed its constant keenness to provide technical and training support for school departments and teachers, as well as detailed organizational evidence that includes an accurate clarification of the roles of all participants, clear criteria for evaluation, and plans for implementation and documentation.

The Ministry was keen in designing these evidence to observe the individual differences between students, in a way that guarantees the comprehensiveness of evaluation and its justice, especially for students who are distinguished, distinguished and talented.

It should be noted that the ministry has organized during the last period a series of workshops and training programs directed to school and teachers directors, in which it focused on clarifying the objectives of the evaluation based on projects, expectations related to its outputs, and ways to support students during all stages of the project.

These programs included six main axes: the practical application of knowledge, activating the comprehensive evaluation based on cognitive growth, enabling students to present their academic development during the implementation stages, enhancing the culture of collective work, and providing continuous feedback from teachers and their students, in a way that contributes to developing their capabilities in a sustainable manner.

This transformation represents part of the Ministry’s strategic vision to develop education in the UAE, and make it more compatible with the requirements of the knowledge economy, the pillars of national development, and the future labor market based on innovation and skills.
