The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation revealed that the percentage of the young manpower in the Emirates during the first half of this year reached 54.96% of the size of the labor market.

She stated in her latest statistics published on its website, that the number of citizens who have joined the private sector since the launch of the “Nafs” program in September 2021 and are still at the head of their work until the end of last July, reached 133 thousand and 622 citizens and citizens. “Enforcement” is a federal government program to raise the competitiveness of citizenship cadres and enable them to fill jobs in private sector institutions in the country.

The number of citizen employees in the private sector reached 152 thousand and 271 citizens by the end of July, who work for more than 29 thousand companies, where many constructive partnerships and development programs were held between “Nafs” and companies that contributed to the employment of citizens.

The rate of growth in companies that contributed to the appointment of women in the first half of this year was 6.04%, bringing the total growth rate in companies that contributed to the appointment of women about 27.54% since the launch of a “competitor”, while the percentage of the skilled women’s workforce reached 29.33% during the same period.

According to the Labor Market Observatory, wholesale and retail trade came at the forefront of the economic sectors that witnessed a growth in the numbers of the skilled workforce in the private sector, followed by the construction sector, then administrative services activities, professional, scientific and technical activities, then manufacturing industries, followed by health and social work, then financial activities, followed by education, information and communication, and finally the transportation sector.

The Ministry emphasized that the continuous successes achieved by the localization file in the private sector confirms the effectiveness of the policies and initiatives of Emiratisation and “compete” in light of the vision of our wise leadership and the directives and follow -up of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of the Presidential Bureau, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Competitiveness of the Emirati cadres, which achieve a remarkable positive impact in terms of the number of citizens enrolled in the sector The special and the positive view of it in the light of enhancing the competitiveness of citizens and the added value they constitute to sustain the business and growth of companies.

The ministry added: «The continued registration of historical and unprecedented numbers for citizens working in the private sector reflects the sustainability of economic growth in the country, including the entry of new companies to the labor market, as their growth rate last year reached about 33% in light of the pioneering and sustainable development model and the continuation of the development approach, to ensure the provision of the best business environment.”

The Ministry valued the interaction of the targeted companies in the private sector with the policies and decisions of resettlement, which confirms its awareness of its responsibilities in this file.

Indicators reflect the national efforts to conduct a comprehensive development in the business sector according to clear legal frameworks that meet the requirements of development during the next fifty years and keep pace with the state’s directions to develop sectors of priority in support of the future economy.

The results also stimulate the private sector to achieve sustainable growth and increase its share in GDP, and confirms that the UAE enhances its position is an ideal destination for living, work, investment and supporting the process of sustainable growth by attracting and pursuing competencies.
