Maryam bint Mohammed bin Zayed: Inclusion "artificial intelligence" Curricula is an investment in students’ minds

Abu Dhabi, May 4 / WAM / Her Highness Sheikha Maryam bint Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice -President of the Education and Human Development Council, confirmed that the UAE adopts leading trends towards a modern education that meets the aspirations of the country, according to a strategy aimed at building an empowered and able generations.
Her Highness said that the inclusion of “artificial intelligence” in the school curricula at all stages is not just an educational decision, but rather an investment in students’ minds and a gate towards establishing their participation in building the future.
She added: “We believe that true knowledge begins with the understanding of the world in which we live, and from understanding its tools, and because artificial intelligence is the new language for the future, we have to respond proactively and teach our sons and daughters the foundations of artificial intelligence to be aware of its positives and capabilities, and realizes its risks and challenges, to pave the appropriate environment for the future industry, and to ensure a responsible use And morally for artificial intelligence, which contributes to the development of the country and society.
Her Highness said: “Together, we build a generation that possesses digital skills and the skills of critical and creative thinking, possessing tomorrow’s tools, and leads its imagination and awareness of its distinguished human capabilities, the country’s march towards more progress and prosperity.”
