The Ministry of Foreign Affairs allows citizens to travel to the Lebanese Republic, starting from May 7, 2025

In implementation of the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, “may God protect him”, and in the context of strengthening brotherly relations, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced the cancellation of the decision to prevent citizens traveling to the sisterly Lebanese Republic, and allowing them to travel to it, as of May 7, 2025.

This comes after the work visit by His Excellency Joseph Aoun, President of the Lebanese Republic, to the UAE, and his meeting with His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State “may God protect him”, where the two sides agreed to allow citizens to travel after taking the necessary measures to facilitate the movement of movement between the two countries and setting the appropriate mechanisms that ensure this.

Conditions and procedures:

– The citizens of the country must register in the service of “my presence” before traveling to ensure effective communication, whether traveling directly through the air outlets of the UAE, or from any other country in the world. The ministry wants to note that registration in the “extension” service is compulsory, and individuals must inform the competent authorities upon their return through my service.

It is prohibited for state citizens who want to travel to leave the state outlets before completing the registration so that they are not vulnerable to suspending the procedures for travel and legal accountability.

– The Ministry calls on citizens to fill out all the required data, determine the residence headquarters in Lebanon, update data when changing it, and determining the emergency communication numbers and the reasons for the visit, and confirms that the lack of registration or updating the residence headquarters exposes the citizen to legal accountability.

– The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stresses the importance of adhering to these measures to ensure the safety and security of citizens.
