Saif bin Zayed witnesses in Moscow the conclusion of the international symposium “The role of the family in empowering society”

The team, His Highness Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, witnessed the international symposium organized by the Religions Alliance for Communities Security in cooperation with the Mohammed bin Zayed University of Humanities, and the religious administration of the Muslims of the Russian Federation, which was held in the Russian capital, Moscow, at the Grand Mosque of the Moscow Mosque under the title “The Family Role in Empowering Society”, in the presence of His Eminence Sheikh Rawi Ain Al -Din, Mufti of the Russian Federation, President of the Religious Administration of Russia’s Muslims.
His Highness also witnessed the signing of a memorandum of understanding by the Mohammed bin Zayed University for Humanities with the Religious Administration of Russian Muslims regarding the inauguration of the Islamic Cultural Center in Moscow in an Emirati initiative that enhances cultural convergence between peoples and spreading the values of tolerance, love, peaceful coexistence and respect for others in the presence of His Excellency Dr. Khalifa Mubarak Al Dhaheri, Director of Mohammed bin Zayed University of Humanities and a number of officials from the Emirati and Russian sides.
The symposium, in which experts and specialists from the Emirati and Russian sides and representatives of the diplomatic corps of Arab and Islamic countries, academics, clerics, thought and speakers from the religious administration of Russian Muslims, participated in a number of issues and axes that emphasized the importance of the family as the pillar of societies, the source of community security, and the first line of defense on members of society with the human values they entrust Societies, to ensure community safety and security.
The symposium was attended by a group of religious leaders of various religions, in addition to a number of thinkers and social experts, with the aim of promoting dialogue and cooperation between religions in relation to family protection and enhancing the cohesion of society.
The symposium focused on the importance of religious values in preserving the structure of the family, its pivotal role in instilling the principles of understanding, compassion and shared responsibility, and discussed the most prominent contemporary challenges facing the family, including family disintegration, modern cultural influences, technological and social challenges that have occurred on the concepts of education and family relations.
The symposium came within the efforts to enhance the common role of religions in building stable and coherent societies, highlighting the family as the nucleus of society and a bridge of communication between generations and cultures, as well as spreading the values of tolerance and human brotherhood and enhancing societal ties.
The team, His Highness Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, toured the exhibition held in the Grand Moscow Mosque under the title “The Sleanss of the Capital” with a joint organization between the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Center and the religious administration of Russian Muslims, with the aim of strengthening cultural and religious relations between the two friendly countries, and highlighting the distinguished role of the center as a global symbol of tolerance and peace.
The exhibition includes professional images of architectural and artistic creations in the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, which reveals the depth of Islamic culture, in addition to a mobile library containing the publications of the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Center, in the presence of the Emirati ambassador in the Russian Federation, His Excellency Dr. Mohamed Ahmed Al -Jaber and a number of Emirati and Russian officials.
His Highness also toured the Grand Mosque of the Moscow, and what is also known as the “Moscow Mosque Mosque”, the architectural masterpiece in the heart of the Russian capital, and is considered the largest in the European continent, where His Highness was briefed at a historical glimpse of the mosque, decorations and inscriptions that decorate its walls, and what this mosque and its facilities represent of the value and role in promoting civilization convergence, and enhancing the principles of dialogue between religions within the religious and cultural activities that are It hosts it, and this mosque has the support of the United Arab Emirates since its rebuilding and inauguration in 2015, in addition to financing the humanitarian and charitable projects that it organizes.
