المملكة: 132 thousand beds and 2.3 million square meters .. “cities” expanding their residential projects in 13 industrial areas

The Saudi Commission for Industrial Cities and Technology Zones “Modon” revealed its intensive efforts to develop residential infrastructure in industrial cities, confirming that there are 536 residential contracts currently, along with 33 projects that are still under construction, as part of its endeavor to provide an attractive and sustainable work environment.
The authority explained that these construction projects extend over a total area of ​​about 2.3 million square meters, and it is expected that it will provide a future capacity of 132,500 beds to meet the needs of workers in the industrial sector.

Residential projects in various parts of the Kingdom

“Cities” indicated that the scope of these housing projects covers 13 industrial zones spread throughout the Kingdom, which reflects the widespread geographical distribution of development efforts.
The commission emphasized the progress made in this regard, as the construction of nine residential complexes has already been completed, while four other complexes are approaching the final stages of completion, which promises the kissing of the provision of more housing options organizing for workers.
In the same context, the authority noted that the percentage of licenses issued for these housing projects has reached a high rate of 81%, which reflects the seriousness and speed in implementation according to the approved criteria.
“Cities” stressed that these projects come to enhance their strategic targets aimed at providing a sustainable industrial work environment, by developing licensed collective housing that adheres to the highest and latest safety and organization standards, in a manner that ensures the provision of a decent and safe residential environment for the workforce in its industrial cities.
