Vacation and academic evaluation guide for Dubai Schools 2025-2026

The Dubai Government has set the official academic evaluation approved for private schools for the two years 2025-2026, in a move aimed at ensuring that all educational institutions are committed to the minimum level of school days, and to facilitate the planning process for parents and schools alike.

The evaluation, which is published on the website of the Knowledge and Human Development Authority, includes all private schools in Dubai regardless of the accredited curriculum, with an assertion that the dates of official holidays such as Eid Al -Fitr and Al -Adha and the National Day are not confirmed only after the issuance of an official declaration by the federal government.

Calendar details for schools that start in April 2025:
The start of the school year: April 7, 2025

Summer holidays: June 30, 2025

Study appeal: August 25, 2025

Winter holidays: December 15, 2025

Return from the holiday: January 5, 2026

The end of the school year: March 2026, provided that 182 academic days are completed

The start of the school year: August 25, 2025

Winter holidays: December 15, 2025

Study appeal: January 5, 2026

Spring holiday: March 23, 2026

Return from Spring holiday: April 6, 2026

Ministry of Education curriculum: Return on April 13, 2026

The end of the school year: No before June 26, 2026

As for the current academic year (2024-2025), it is expected that the schools that started in September will end their time, not before June 27, 2025.
