The European Union renewed its call to Israel as the existing force of the occupation to lift the siege on the Gaza Strip, resume the ceasefire, and the immediate and unconditional release of the hostages, confirming its firm support for the Palestinian people.
This came in a joint statement issued in the name of the European Supreme Actress for Foreign Affairs, Kaya Callas, and the crisis management is a need for Habib.

An Israeli siege
The joint statement said: “Aid tons awaiting the border, and it represents a 3 -month supply for the 2.2 million population, and that once the siege is lifted, the feeding situation can improve very quickly, and that Israel is bound by international law to ensure humanitarian aid to the needy population.”
The statement stressed the European Union concern about the “mechanism of delivery of aid to the new Gaza” that was approved by the Israeli security cabinet on May 4, which contradicts humanitarian principles, noting that international humanitarian law prohibits the use of aid as a tool for war, and that aid must reach civilians in need.
