The UAE does not recognize the decision of the Port Sudan Authority

The United Arab Emirates confirmed that it does not recognize the decision of the Port Sudan Authority, considering that this authority does not represent the legitimate government of Sudan and its noble people, and that the statement issued by the so -called Security and Defense will not affect the established relations between the UAE and the Republic of Sudan and their two brotherly peoples.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stressed, in a statement, that the decision of the Port Sudan Authority – one of the two warring parties in Sudan – to cut diplomatic relations with the UAE a reaction just one day after the International Court of Justice rejected the lawsuit filed by the Port Sudan Authority.

The Ministry rejected the shameful statements issued by the Port Sudan authority, which is considered a maneuver to evade the efforts and efforts of peace, and stressed that Sudan and its noble people need a civil and independent leadership of the military authority that puts the priorities of the brotherly people in the first place. A leadership does not kill half of its people, wanders and displace the other half.

The ministry added that the UAE stands alongside the Sudanese people, especially the large Sudanese community residing on the land of the Emirates and Sudanese visitors who will not be affected by recent decisions. It reaffirmed that the UAE is at the forefront of the countries of the world in supporting Sudan over the past five decades, and will not hesitate to give a helping hand to the brotherly Sudanese people.
